My Approach

The privilege of witnessing clients’ vulnerabilities and triumphs alike is something I hold in the highest regard and deepest honour. I believe every person has the capacity for change, growth and self-love. The modalities I use help facilitate a stronger sense of embodied self – combining cognitive and somatic approaches for a stronger mind-body connection.

Modalities I draw from

Attachment Theory

Attachment-based therapy helps individuals heal relational wounds by exploring early attachment experiences and fostering secure, trusting connections in the present.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy helps individuals achieve healing and self empowerment by exploring and integrating their inner “parts,” fostering balance and harmony within the self.

Somatic Experiencing (SE)

Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-focused therapy that helps individuals process and release trauma by restoring the nervous system’s natural ability to regulate stress and resolve stuck survival responses.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness therapy cultivates present-moment awareness and acceptance to reduce stress, enhance emotional regulation and promote overall well-being.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps individuals develop psychological flexibility by accepting difficult emotions, clarifying personal values and committing to meaningful actions.
